My little girl relaxing on the couch. I can’t believe she’s 10 years old already :-(

Tanner on the couch trying very hard to look like he didn’t do what he probably just did.

Grady on the couch in my office.

His tongue is a little too long for his head and it usually ends up sticking out like this when he naps.

Video killed the radio star

I’d been planning on it for a while, but I finally picked up a Flip Mino HD today. In addition to using it to shoot video of the kids when they’re born, I wanted to take some video of Tiff’s baby shower since her family can’t make it out for it. Oh, and the dogs. There will likely be many videos of the dogs. Like this one:

I haven’t had a ton of time to play with it yet, but I’m really digging the camera so far. I think it’ll be fine for what I need.

Say hi to the most expensive cat ever.

Some of Murray's wounds.

Some of Murray’s wounds.

If you follow me on Twitter, you might’ve noticed I sent a couple of tweets on Sunday about some chaos that ensued on Saturday night.

If you don’t follow me on twitter and are too lazy to click the links above, long story short, Murray (the cat in the picture) and Tanner got into a bit of a major scuffle while we weren’t home. Tanner had a cat claw stuck in his face when we got home and Murray was found behind the TV—bloody, soaking wet, and in a state of serious shock.

Anyway, the cat came home on Sunday night and has been recovering upstairs in the spare room (now his fortress of solitude). Since he’s looking a bit better and isn’t in as much pain as the last few days, I figured I’d take some pictures of the wounds. Unfortunately, he wasn’t very cooperative about rolling over, so I only got the one side. I’ll get some of the other side when he rolls over.

By the way, this is the same cat that cost us nearly $3k a few years ago when he jumped out of our 3rd floor apartment window and broke his leg. This time cost significantly less, but that explains the title of the post :-)
