Site redesign details
As I mentioned in my last post, I was never completely happy with the previous design of this site. After going through a few iterations over the last few weeks, I came up with the design you’re looking at.
For those of you that care about the technical stuff, here are some details:
Headline Fonts
I was originally planning on using sIFR for the headline fonts, but while doing some research, I discovered Cufón. Cufón is an alternative to sIFR that doesn’t require Flash or any other browser plugins. You should see the headlines rendered in the Mizike font if you’re using any major browser.
Round Textbox Corners
For those of you using Firefox or Safari, you should see some spiffy rounded corners on the search box, comment form, and contact form thanks to border-radius, -moz-border-radius, and -webkit-border-radius. If you’re still in the dark ages and using Internet Explorer, you’ll see the normal square corners.
And then?
If you find something that doesn’t quite look like you think it should, please let me know. Be sure to let me know which browser and OS you’re using so I can take a look at it.
Enjoy!
