My 5 most-used 3rd-party iPhone apps; revisited
Back in October, I wrote about my 5 most-used 3rd-party iPhone apps. Since then, a few of my top 5 have changed, so I figured I’d update the list:
- Tweetie ($2.99)
- By far the best Twitter client for the iPhone. It’s not free, but it’s worth every penny.
- Frenzic ($4.99)
- Absolutely and ridiculously addictive. I cannot stop playing this game. You can link your account up with the Frenzic web site and add friends, compare stats, and more.
- PDX Bus (Free)
- Trimet bus stops and schedules on the iPhone. Absolutely essential if you live in Portland and ride Trimet often.
- Friendz ($1.99)
- If you’re a gamer and have an Xbox 360 and Xbox Live account, you’ll want this app. The big difference between this and the other Xbox Live-related apps is that you don’t have to give it gamertags to monitor—it uses your existing friends list.
- Mobile Fotos ($2.99)
- By far my favorite Flickr app. It allows me to take photos and quickly upload them to Flickr directly from the iPhone. The nearby feature is also very slick (it uses the GPS to find you and then displays photos taken nearby your location).
So there ya have it. Three changed and two remained on the list from October.
I’m sure you have some favorites of your own. What are they? Share them in the comments below.
