Catching up
Yes, people, I’m still alive. Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but it’s been a busy past few weeks. Here’s a brief rundown:
- My parents and my brother and his wife were in town visiting last week. Pictures will be online shortly-ish. While they were here, my mom and I went to the Apple store and she bought a Mac mini to replace her 6 year old virus-infested Dell (which is still running Windows Me!). I spent a good chunk of last weekend getting it set up and showing her how to use it, so hopefully she should be able to just plug it in (which she said she was going to do today) and go.
- I’m leaving Hollywood and going back to TechTracker. My last day at Hollywood is tomorrow and I’ll be back in the TechTracker office on Monday. Words can’t explain how much I’m looking forward to it.
- Tiff quit her job. Her last day is Saturday. Lorenzo sold the restaurant (the new guy took over on Monday), some bullshit ensued, and she decided she had enough. She’s been there for almost 2 years and is really looking forward to starting over somewhere else. If anyone in the Portland area knows of a restaurant looking for a chef, drop me a line.
- I am addicted to LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. If you haven’t played it, buy a copy and play it. It’s incredibly fun and, if you liked the original Star Wars trilogy, you need to play this game.
I feel like I’m forgetting something but, since I can’t think of what it is, I’ll pretend I’m not forgetting anything :-) If I think of it, I’ll post an update (along with the pictures later).
