Archive and search changes

Update #3:
Version 1.0 of the SN Archives plugin has been released.
Update #2:
Fixed. Sorry about any inconvenience.
Update:
Crap, it appears the monthly archives are broken in IE6 (surprise, surprise). Hang tight IE users, I’m working on getting it fixed.
Original Post:
I just finished changing a few things here on the site. The first was to make the archive a bit easier to use while not having a huge list of posts to navigate through.
To do so, I created a plugin for WordPress based on Chris O’Rourke’s CDC Clean Archives plugin (which is based on Shawn Grimes’ Clean Archives plugin).
The main difference between my plugin and Chris’ is that I’m using the scriptaculous javascript library instead of the moo.fx library that Chris is using. I also cleaned up the code a bit and rewrote one of the PHP functions that’s part of WordPress because its output was driving me crazy :-)
Anyway, go check out the archive to see how it works.
Another change I made is to the search results and category/date archives. Instead of returning a paginated list of complete posts, a dated list of post titles are now returned. Hopefully this’ll make things easier to find since there isn’t as much output to sift through as there was before.
If you have any questions or notice anything broken (or if you’d like me to clean up the plugin and release it), please leave a comment or send me an email.
